Without any doubt he is the best player of Arsenal in this season and one of the best new signing in EPL. Arsene Wenger played a master stroke getting in Alexis who played a starring role at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where Chile qualified from Group A and reached the round of 16. In the tournament, Sanchez put two in the net in his four appearances. Arsenal fans will be hoping that he stays fit and finishes the season like the way he started.
Roping in the Colombian International for just 3 million pounds was a clever move on Arsenal’s side. His breath taking saves against a strong Manchester City side at the Etihad Stadium didn’t go unnoticed and from then on he never looked back bagging the position of Arsenal’s first choice Goalkeeper replacing the highly talented Wojciech Szczesny.
Bought from the Magpies, this highly rated French Right Back had has a season to forget with the shoulder injury that he suffered not once but twice during the course of the season. Youngsters Callum Chambers and Hector Bellerin did a commendable job in his absence. The Gunners will be hoping that Debuchy stays fit next season and show what he is worth.
Termed as a player who doesn’t score enough goals by none other than Manchester United, Wenger showed faith in this highly talented England striker bringing him to the Emirates for 16 million. He started the season on a high note scoring in the premier league against Aston Villa and netting a Hat trick in the Champions league game against Galatasaray. His work rate is for one and all to see. But with Olivier Giroud showing some impeccable form after his comeback from injury, Welbeck’s opportunities have been limited. But his goal against Manchester United, his former club in the Fa Cup quarter finals should give him a lot of confidence and the Professor will be hoping that Danny’s season goes from strength to strength.
Signed from a team who have the knack of producing some great talents, Southampton. He became the crowd favourite from first day when Arsenal defeated Manchester City to lift the Community Shield. He is talented and versatile player, can play in different position. He played as a centre back in that game alongside Per Mertesacker helping Arsenal to get a clean sheet with some excellent interceptions. During the season he has also proved his effectiveness in the right back as well the holding midfield positions. Chamber’s signing added a much needed depth to Arsenal’s defence. This lad has got all the potential of becoming a fine player for the Gunners if he keeps on improving.
Arsenal are already in the final of FA cup and in second position in EPL. They performed brilliantly in 2nd phase of the season. They also signed Gabriel Paulista from Villarreal in winter transfer window, who will be a essential part of the team next season.
