The German Midfield General had had an outstanding pre-season both scoring and setting up goals. His passing vision and composure would be highly required in this crucial fixture if Arsenal has to go past Chelsea.
Recruited from none other than Chelsea this summer, the Czech International would be itching to have an excellent game against his former employees and also to show to the world that despite being 33 years of age, Arsene Wenger did an excellent business in signing him for 10 million British Pounds.
With Sanchez not available for Sunday, the onus will be on Theo Walcott to step up to the plate and be Arsenal’s impact player. He ended previous season on a high scoring 5 goals in the last 4 games and also showed glimpses of his talent in the pre-season by netting goals against Everton and Wolfsburg.

The Serbian has had two outstanding seasons back to back for the Blues. His physical presence in the middle of the pitch would be very crucial in stopping the supply of balls to the Arsenal forwards by the likes of Ozil and Cazorla. He provides a perfect foil for Fabregas, who can move forward on a regular basis.
Still considered as the best defender in England, John Terry would have to bring all his long term experience into play when he deals with the physical presence of Olivier Giroud and the swiftness of Walcott up front.
