This is the first time in the history of Copa America tournament, the managers of all four semifinalist is Argentine. Argentine football is known for producing great players, but now they have great coaches too. This is all together a new level with the inception of modern football and obviously a fantastic news for Argentine football. In the beginning of the tournament, 6 of the 12 coaches were Argentine and five of those progressed to the last eight. Jorge Sampaoli (Chile), Ricardo Gareca (Peru), Gerardo Martino (Argentina) and Ramon Diaz (Paraguay) are in the semifinal. José Pékerman (Colombia) has been knocked out by Martino’s Argentina in Quarter final round.

Gerardo Martino (Argentina)
Although Argentina has reached the semifinal of the tournament, still he hasn’t done satisfactory job with the squad. His decisions, tactics are often controversial and highly criticized. The team has suffered for that, he needs to revisit his ideas, tactics and adopt new strategy. Martino has one of the most destructive attacking line up in World football, he needs to utilize the most of it. But his consistency in big tournament is praise worthy, in last Copa America 2011 he was runner up with Paraguay and now, in the verge of playing the final again.

Ricadro Gareca (Peru)
Gareca has taken charge from February, 2015 and done a terrific job with Peruvian national team. The team was struggling before he has taken the responsibility, now he has led them to the semifinal of Copa 2015. The team has shown fantastic character, fighting spirit in this tournament.
Jorge Sampaoli (Chile)
Jorge Sampaoli has taken the Chilean football to a new heights. Marcelo Bielsa strated from the scratch and Sampaoli improved further to make a brilliant team. He is known for his high pressing football with attack through the flank and keeping the possession. He is always a demanding manager and great researcher when it’s come to weakness and strength of opponent. Chile performed brilliantly in World Cup and continue to do the same in Copa America, they are the best team in this tournament do far and the credit definitely goes to Jorge Sampaoli.
Ramon Diaz (Paraguay)
Ramon Diaz is the best manager of this tournament so far. His style of play, managerial skill and tactics are spot on every time in tournament. Despite of trailing 3 times in the four matches, they still manages to make positive result out of it. Their performance in 2nd half in every match was class apart. The team shows great spirit, tough mentality in every situation and the credit goes to none other than Ramon Diaz.
Apart from those four, José Pékerman also did terrific job with Colombia. In the World Cup 2014, Argentina reached the final under Alejandro Sabella. Marcelo Bielsa and Diego Simeone are also doing great job with Marseille and Atlético Madrid respectively. Cesar Luis Menotti, Guillermo Stabile, Carlos Bilardo, Daniel Passarella and Carlos Bianchi are few great names when it’s comes to Argentine football coaches. Now, it seems Argentine football is maintaining the tradition. It is great source for happiness for the country, that they are producing not only top class players but also fantastic coaches in every generation.
