John Stones and Romelu Lukaku to leave Everton: Manager Roberto Marinez is concerned that he may lose two of his best players in January or in the summer after his team failed to cope up with Top 4 competition.
Everton are in the 11th position in the Premier League table this season, nine points behind the 4th place. The Toffees are without a win in the last two games and enter the second half of the season with a stronger fight than the poor form. The fight to keep hold of their best defender and the best forward. Yes, it is John Stones and Romelu Lukaku who are linked with a move away from the Goodison Park.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has dismissed all the transfer rumors but it is believed that the players may not be staying with the Toffees for a longer time. It is reported that John Stones have agreed a verbal deal with Everton for leaving the club in the summer transfer window. Though Matinez denied the reports, the rumors of John Stones leaving Everton is getting stronger each day.
John Stones is eyed as one of the best young Center Backs available in the market and earned comparisons with former English internationals John Terry and Rio Ferdinand. The Manchester United great has voiced his admiration for his fellow countryman, announcing Stones is worth any amount. He pushed his former club to go for the Everton defender and warned them that they will regret if they fail to sign the player.
On the other hand, Romelu Lukaku has scored an impressive 15 goals in Premier League so far this season. Which has attracted many top clubs in Europe, notably his former employers Chelsea. The Blues want to re-sign the Belgium international and the deal is expected to go after Blues Legend Didier Drogba returned to the club as a coaching staff. The veteran African has a big admiration for the Belgium star and it is reported that he wants to recruit Lukaku to lead the Blues’ attack unit.
Other than the English top clubs, Spanish giants Real Madrid are tracking the situation of John Stones and Romelu Lukaku is wanted by a host of top European clubs. Irrespective of the finish Everton will surely have a tough fight if they want to keep the two praised talents and as per the current situation, it is almost impossible for Everton to win the race.
