Gareth Bale; back Performing in National colors

The Real Madrid front man Gareth Bale who has been heavily criticized by Bernabeu faithful & Spanish media due to his dipped in form in couple of month, hit backs his critics with a spectacular performance. He set up one for Aaron Ramsey & scored two goals for the team against Israel in Haifa.

A performance with sensational running, finishing & a well taken free kick is enough to silent the pundits. The former spurs man said in his post-match interview,

“I don’t need to answer the critics. I know, and everyone around me knows, what I can do. There are ups and downs in football, you have to take it with a pinch of salt and all you can do is respond with your performances on the pitch, like that.”

Bale continued stating his recent disappointments received by Real Madrid:

“don’t feel I need to prove anyone wrong or right, I just need to play my football. I love playing for Wales, it’s a big honour and the most important thing is I focus on my football, I don’t listen to anyone else, what they’re saying, just enjoy my football with the boys.”

Bale scored his 16 in 49 internationals for Wales, become the joint sixth highest scorer for his country. It seems he will eventually overhaul Ian Rush, record-holder with 28 goals. He also said

“It’s obviously great to score for Wales and all that comes with it but the most important thing was the victory. We put a great performance in, just worked hard; every single player on the pitch deserves the credit.”

Now Wales are top of group B with 11 points in 5 matches, 2 point above of Israel & 3 points above Belgium, while both teams played 4 matches each. This victory already put them in great position to reach UEFA EURO 2016 in France.Gareth Bale in Madrid
