Jürgen Klopp is Going to Leave Borussia Dortmund In This Summer

Jürgen Klopp is going to leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of this season, confirms his exit in the press conference. Every good thing comes with an expiry date. Jürgen Klopp and Dortmund were probably the most perfect match for each other. The long lasted romance is going to over in this season after 7 years long journey. He asked the club to release him after experienced a difficult season.

Dortmund called a press conference at 1.30pm (12.30pm BST) on Wednesday. His contract was up to 2018 but according to his wish, chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed that the club had agreed to release him early from his contract.

Here is few things, what Klopp has said in the press conference:

I am not tired. I may look tired but I am not. I am 0.0% tired. I haven’t had any contact with any other clubs but am not planning a sabbatical. I have always said that the day I feel that I am no longer the perfect coach for this extraordinary club I will say that. That is something I have thought about in every phase here at Dortmund and decided in the last few weeks, days, that I was no longer able to be absolutely sure about that. And then, because of the unusual relationship I have with this club, the trust we have for each other, it was my duty to tell the club.

Borusia Dortmund has experienced an awful season, manages only 33 points in 28 games. They are in 10th position in league table. Also suffered from an early exit in Champions league Round of 16 by Juventus, literally thrashed them at Signal Iduna Park, in front of their own crowd. Apart from that Player like Mario Götze and Robert Lewandowski leave the club & join their rival Bayern Munich. Mats Hummels already linked with various clubs in next transfer window. So it is going to be a frustrating situation for the managers. This news is not a surprise, it was just a matter of time.

Possible Destination of Jürgen Klopp

EPL is going to be his most probable destination. There was a rumor that Klopp is going to replace Arsène Wenger this season. But the way Arsenal perform in the second phase of this season, especially in this year, there is no way Arsenal will think of replacing Wenger.

On the other hand, Manchester City started well, but currently they are on the fourth position in league table, out of FA cup too. So there is a high possibility that he will replace Manuel Pellegrini in City. PSG is another club, he might be interested. There are also rumor that club like A.C.Milan, Liverpool, Real Madrid to be his next possible destination, but the possibility is very low.
