The Reds’ winger Raheem Sterling is preparing to leave Anfield after this season. He may come back to England to join either Chelsea or Arsenal. A lot of transfer rumours are flying around Liverpool for past couple of weeks and now, it seems, this rumour is going to be reality. If so, Reds supporter will miss two awesome players. First, Steven Gerrard and second, Raheem Sterling.
According to BBC Sport, Raheem Sterling has turned down £100,000 per week deal offered by Anfield and his aim is to join either Blues or Gunners. From starting a career at Queens Park Rangers, it was quite difficult to be fit in Liverpool but he is enjoying his position.
This England international has made his debut for England and now it’s time to play in England, according to Dailymail. At the same time, Chelsea as well as Arsenal are trying to pick up this winger, who has played a leading role at Anfield.
This is the fourth season of Premier League for Liverpool and this is probably the best season of Sterling. A lot of assist, winning goals (7), dribbling have made this English man more popular. Sterling has played 34 matches alongside Steven Gerrard and they have won 16 of them.
If Liverpool is standing on fifth position on EPL point table, Sterling has a huge contribution to push his team up. According to Brendan Ridgers, he is suffering from lack of motivation and that yielded an unproductive finish in recent past. But, he can comeback.
However, there is no guarantee whether the comeback will be commenced at Liverpool itself or at Chelsea or Arsenal. This young talent has go to a long way, B/R UK’s Stan Collymore.
