According to Andy Kelly of Liverpool Echo, the English international, Raheem Sterling will miss Liverpool’s pre-season tour since he has shown his keen interest to leave Anfield. Previously, he was sick and following that, he again did the same thing for pre-season training.
Now, even Liverpool FC is also in talk with Manchester City to sell this player for a fixed price. According to the sources, Liverpool has set his price at £50 Million but Manchester City is not ready to pay such amount to buy this 20-years old attacker.
Manchester City had already made two bids of £35 million plus add-ons and £40 million plus add-ons but Liverpool is not yet ready to release this attacker for £40 million. According to them, he should be at least £50 million plus add-ons and this is where all arguments started.
However, now, it seems Manchester City has probably increased the bid amount and that is why Raheem Sterling didn’t show any interest to be included in 30-man squad for Australia and Far East tour before Premier League.
Andy Kelly of Liverppol Echo has said,
Sterling will miss Liverpool’s pre-season tour of Australia and the Far East as the club have opened talks with Manchester City over a possible transfer.
The Reds depart from Manchester Airport [on Sunday] but the 20-year-old winger will not be on the plane as his exit from Anfield moves closer.
Liverpool are now in talks with Manchester City who have submitted a third offer for the 20-year-old.
City’s two previous bids – the last of which was worth around £40 million – were rejected by the Reds who have always insisted they value Sterling at £50 million.
A big question is coming out. What will happen if Manchester City does not increase their bid amount and makes no further bid? Will Liverpool release Raheem Sterling for £45 million? Or, a big trouble is coming soon for Sterling?
