Liverpool has identified Jurgen Klopp as the successor of Brendon Rodgers who was sacked after a hard-fought draw in the Merseyside derby against Everton. The club authorities are ready to OFFICIALLY approach the German (If reports are to be believed) who is enjoying his vacation after the break up with Borussia Dortmund.
Jurgen Klopp Joins Liverpool FC
Brendon Rodgers finished out of the top 4 in the Premier League table last season (2014-15), leaving the Merseysiders out of the Champions League. And things have not turned good for the former Swansea city boss as he suffered a more disappointing new season (2015-16). Liverpool sits 10th in the points table after 8 rounds, only picking 12 points from the possible 24.
The sack was not a shock to those who follow the game regularly as Brendon Rodgers was on the tip of the blade after a couple of weeks into the new campaign. He started the season without star forward Daniel Sturridge, but that’s not an excuse for Rodgers as he has spent more than his predecessors in the summer on key targets. He has brought in Christian Benteke, Roberto Firminho, Nathaniel Clyne, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan and Joe Gomez. So Rodgers can not raise his hands for an excuse from the Liverpool management as they have done all they COULD have to ensure that Rodgers gets what he wants in the squad.
After the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona, Liverpool gave all the money from the transfer on Rodger’s hand to make the things BETTER. But, the former did not do well and he was RIGHTLY sacked by the club. Though they were right to sack Rodgers, Liverpool are not in a safe zone as they are in NEED of a man to take over.
JURGEN KLOPP to Liverpool FC
The best coach available in the market, but Liverpool have to FIGHT to bring the man to the Anfield. The former BVB coach who made the Borussia side a strong competitor for Bundesliga and impressed the world with his results in the Champions League. And as a result, the man is an HOT target in the manager’s market. Clubs including Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Arsenal are having an EYE on the German and are ready to pounce if they get a chance.
But as per the reports, Jurgen Klopp is keen on a move to Premier League and is ready to take over the former SUPER POWERS of England. If that so(the reports are true), then Liverpool are clearly getting a UPGRADE and can feel secured. but the questions and doubts won’t stop until an official agreement is made!
