Apart from those retain players, they have bought Godwin Franco, who has played for Kerala Blasters in ISL 2014 and Mehrajuddin Wadoo, who has played for FC Pune City. Godwin Franco is a midfielder and Mehrajuddin Wadoo is a trustworthy defender cum midfielder.

All the players except Harmanjot Singh Khabra will join Chenniyin FC in ISL 2 as a free agent. Harmanjot Singh Khabra has played his first ISL league on a loan from East Bengal and this time, it will be continued. At the end of current i-League, he will be go to Chenniyin FC on loan for Indian Super League 2015 season.

The 31 years old defender, Mehrajuddin Wadoo has a lot of experience of big tournaments. He has played for senior Indian football team in 32 matches. He has won South Asian Football Federation Cup (SAFF Championship). Apart from that, he got Nehru cup in two times, AFC Challenge Cup and so on.

On the other hand, Godwin Franco was appeared only in four matches for Kerala Blasters in ISL 2014. That simply implies, Chennaiyin FC has got the right man at right time.
