Arsenal Team News

Arsene Wenger’s men are struggling in this season, and that is crystal clear. As a result, they have won only two matches out of five, which is not expected from a team like Arsenal. Their Premier League campaign was started with a defeat to Klopp’s men. In the last Premier League match against Southampton, they won with a scoreline of 2-1 and thanks to the last minute goal of Cazorla. However, Sanchez excels in the first Champions League match against PSG, which was a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes.

Considering all the matches, it seems Wenger is in need of a new plan and employment of few players. Talking about the formation, Wenger would love to play in a 4-5-1 formation. In the defence lineup, you can find Koscielny and the new player, Mustafi. The left back and right back will be managed by Monreal and Ballerin. Following that, you can find Cazorla and Coquelin. In the front line, Wenger will employ Ozil, Chamberlain, Iwobi and Sanchez. However, there is doubt on goalkeeper since Wenger has used both of the front-end goalkeepers in two different matches. Therefore, you can find either Petr Cech or Ospina.

Starting Lineup of Arsenal against Hull City

Ospina; Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla; Iwobi, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Sanchez.

Hull City vs Arsenal Match Preview, Team News and Prediction

Hull City Team News

Hull City is a very tricky team, and they can win against any team on their day. Like Arsenal, Hull City have played four matches in Premier League, and they have won 2 out of 4. They haven’t won in last two matches those end up with a score line of 0 – 1(Manchester United) and 1-1 (Burnley FC). No doubt that this is the time when Phelan needs to think about his team. Although he managed this team very well even after so many ups and downs but still they need position result at the end of the day and this is what they are not getting in Premier League. Although they have played pretty good against Exeter City they failed to outperform against Manchester United and Burnley. Having a good squad, Phelan needs to think about the attacking lineup since they are not utilizing their players properly. Talking about the individual performance, Snodgrass and Huddlestone have played pretty well, and Snodgrass is the man, who levelled the score against Burnley FC.

Starting Lineup of Hull City against Arsenal

Japukovic; Elmohamady, Davies, Livermore, Robertson; Huddlestone, Clucas, Meyler; Snodgrass, Diomande, Hernandez.

Arsenal Team News

After playing four matches in Premier League, Arsenal has won only 2 of them. They lost to Liverpool in the opening game with a scoreline of 3-4. In their last match, Arsenal was down to 1 goal against PSG in UEFA Champions League match. But, a sensational goal of Sanchez on 77th minute made the score line 1-1. Although Ospina played a vital role in that match but on the other hand, Gunners’ midfielder, Ozil didn’t perform that good. Wenger needs to think about his midfield since Arsenal’s midfield seems feeble as compared to earlier. However, Sanchez is in his form, and that is obviously a good sign for Gunners. Nevertheless, they have a lack of co-operating and that is why they failed to create a good number of opportunities. Wenger has utilized Mustafi very well, and that is a good sign for him as well as other players.

Starting Lineup of Arsenal against Hull City

As of now, there is no such injury news of Arsenal, which means Wenger will continue with the same starting lineup as against PSG.

Ospina; Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla; Iwobi, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Sanchez.

Hull City vs Arsenal Match Prediction

Although, this is quite difficult for Arsenal but still they have the advantage because of having new players in the club. Hull City need to think about their attacking as well as defending lineup. Otherwise, it would be a tough game for them even when they will be playing at their home ground. Considering all the things, it seems the match will end up with a score line of 1-0 in favour of Arsenal.

Other clubs also have bought several new players and got some on loan. More other news related to new players will be published soon.

Former England U21 manager Stuart Pearce urged Arsene Wenger to sign the Ivory Coast captain and Manchester City’s midfield head Yaya Toure if the player leaves the Manchester club in the summer. Yaya Toure is expected to leave Manchester City once Pep Guardiola arrives at the Etihad stadium in the summer.

Pep Guardiola is the next Manchester City manager and is expected to take charge at the Etihad as soon as this season is over. The first news to come out of Manchester City after the appointment of Pep Guardiola is that Toure will leave the club once the former Barcelona manager takes charge of Manchester City. Pep Guardiola and Toure had a rift at Barcelona when the Spaniard was managing Barcelona. It is reported that Guardiola did not want Toure as a box-to-box midfielder rather he preferred Sergio Busquets who is a trademark center defensive midfielder and suits Barcelona’s playing style perfectly.

Toure left Barcelona to join Manchester City where he made a name for himself and is now one of the fan favorites at the Etihad. Earlier this season, reports circulated that Manchester City hierarchy has agreed to offer an honouring role to Yaya Toure inside the club’s directing panel as a token of merit to his sheer commitment and service to the club.

Stuart Pearce who manager Manchester City for two years has voiced his admiration for the veteran and thinks the player can make an impact with the Gunners. The former England U21 manager clarified that Yaya can play a ‘leader’ role at Emirates which will help the Gunners to motivate the youngster and the squad towards the Premier League title for which the Gunners are longing over a decade.

“On his day Yaya Toure is outstanding.”

“Arsenal need an old head within the team.”

“Petr Cech has proved a fantastic success this year at Arsenal, and to have a player like Toure at the centre of midfield, as that holding type of player, I think he’d give one or two of the youngsters a bit of a lift.”

“I think he’d be a good signing for them,” Pearce told talkSPORT.

Pearce is right considering how Petr Cech’s arrival has lifted Arsenal’s title challenge this season. The Cech Republic international is outstanding for the Gunners and has saved Arsenal from losing points more than once this year to prove his worth.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is impressed by Juventus striker Alvaro Morata’s performances this season and has reportedly had talks with the player’s representatives over a summer transfer. The transfer money is expected to be around £50million.

Arsenal are struggling for a scoring striker for a long time ever since Robin van Persie left the club and now, Arsene Wenger has identified Alvaro Morata as the perfect fit according to reports. Though Arsenal have Oliver Giroud who has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season, Arsenal are not in the favorites list of any of the major honors like English Premier League and Champions League.

Giroud started the season in fine form but the French man lost his touch after the first part of the season which is affecting the Gunners dearly up front. Wenger is once again losing the EPL title race despite starting the season stronger than ever. Reports suggest that Wenger has decided to spend as much as £50million on Alvaro Morata for whom Real Madrid has a buy-back offer.

Arsenal vs Liverpool Match Review 4 April

The Blancos off-loaded their academy Graduate to Juventus two years back, but they included a buy-back offer which can be used in the summer transfer window. Real Madrid is also keen on the player as they are searching for a deputy to French striker Karim Benzema. New manager Zinedine Zidane has shown utmost belief in academy players ever since he took over the reigns from Rafa Benitez and it is said that the French man will activate Morata’s buy-back clause in the summer.

Morata has scored just 8 goals for Juventus in all competitions this season, but he is one of the vital players for Allegri’s men this season. Along with Paulo Dybala, Morata has formed an impressive strike partnership which is considered as one of the best in Europe. Arsenal are also behind PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is reportedly preparing himself for a move to the Emirates.

Whether Wenger will sanction £50million for a player is not a guarantee, but considering Arsenal’s sufferings this season it will not be a surprise if he does spend huge money to bolster his squad in the summer transfer window.

On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur are quite good in terms of midfield and defense. On the other hand, the goalkeeper is always a plus point for them. At the same time, their goal machine, Harry Kane is performing more than awesome, which will create a problem for Arsenal. Venue: White Hart Lane

Alexis Sanchez blasts Arsenal: The Arsenal forward criticised his team for not showing hunger on the pitch after the Gunners were defeated by the 16th placed Swansea side. Arsenal lost back to back league games against Manchester United and Swansea which saw their title dream hit a major blow. The Gunners are 6 points behind league leaders Leicester City with 10 more games to play.

Arsenal have tougher fixtures than their fellow title rivals which make the title race further complicated for Arsene Wenger’s men. Arsenal’s lost at the Emirates against a weaker Swansea side was one of the worst results for Arsene Wenger since a team competing for the crown should not have lost a game like this one.

Alexis - Goal

Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal’s star forward also joined the critics to blame his team as he felt his team do not have the hunger required to win a league title. Manager Arsene Wenger also concerned that the players have a confidence problem. During the first half of the season, the Gunners were the clear favorites to win the EPL as defending Champions Chelsea struggled badly and second favorites Manchester City endured an inconsistent start. But yet again the Gunners failed to utilise the chances and did not take any advantage from their rivals’ slips.

Speaking to Directv Sports, Alexis Sanchez told:

“Sometimes we lack the mentality that we are already winning 1-0 when we go out on to the pitch.”
“We lack this hunger to believe that we can be champions.”
“If we go out onto to the pitch with hunger to become champions, to win the Premier League or the Champions League we can achieve it.”
“I remember a game against Manchester United last year. The lads looked hungry for silverware as we took to the pitch.”
“We crushed them in the first 20 minutes and went 3-0 up. We were hungry and brimming with confidence that day.”
Arsenal still have equal chances of winning the Premier League, but the way they played the last two games will never help them to achieve the big honour. They need to sort out their problems as soon as possible before the things slip out of their hands.

Arsene Wenger booed by Arsenal fans: How many can believe this? But, YES! Arsene Wenger was booed by the frustrated Arsenal fans at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal fans lost their control and patience completely after the Gunners threw away their best chance to claim the English Premier Title this season. Arsenal have not won a league title ever since 2004 and it looks like the fans have finally come to a decision.

Arsene Wenger, the most respected figure at Arsenal who is considered as the father of the Emirates Stadium as it is his intelligence that helped Arsenal built their new stadium. But, everything in this world has a limit and so does Wenger’s reign at the Emirates. He joined Arsenal back in 1996 and is with the club for almost 20 years now. Wenger is Arsenal’s best ever manager in case of trophies won despite not winning any competitions from 2004-2014.

Arsenal had big financial problems and it is Wenger who solved all of them with his brilliant transfer policies. He nurtured youth talents, made them players and sold them for a good fee which helped Arsenal to reduce their debts considerably. Arsenal are free from any sort of financial problems in the recent years but yet Wenger stood firm on his belief in youth talent. He did not rush to the market to sign players every year. So the fans were happy with the belief that their club will find it’s lost glory at least in future.

Arsenal fans’ hopes increased when Wenger signed Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil from Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively. The fans thought this year is their’s as they believed the club will win it’s League title after a long 12 years waiting. At the start of the season, everything looked positive and Arsenal were the clear favorites to win the EPL this season. But as for now with just 10 games to play, Arsenal have lost their momentum and are struggling in the league.

The Gunners lost to a young and injury-plagued Manchester United last weekend which caused some noise from the crowd. Followed by the disappointment, the Wenger’s men lost the home game aginst Swansea last night. The fans were clearly very frustrated by the loss and they did not ready to satisfy themselves with a top 4 finish.

Arsene Wenger was booed when he took off Joel Campbell and the booes continued till the final whistle. The fans did not spare the players as every one of them was jeered when they entered the tunnel after the game. The Emirates crowd never seemed so angry at their players and especially their beloved manager Arsene Wenger before. The fans’ jeer explain only one thing; they are not ready to satisfy with a top 4 finish from now on, they want the PREMIER LEAGUE CROWN and the time is running out for Arsene Wenger.

Although, Arsenal are standing ahead of Swansea City, yet, both of the clubs’ situations are almost same. They are playing a good game but unable to find the win at the final whistle. Arsenal have lost of Manchester United at Old Trafford and Tottenham Hotspur have defeated Swansea City with a score line of 2-1 in the very previous Premier League match. Although, Arsene Wenger is confident to win this match over Swansea City at Emirates, but nothing can be said as this will decide whether Arsenal are still a title challenger or not. On the other hand, it doesn’t matter whether Swansea City can win it or not as they are standing far behind Arsenal. Now, let’s check out this post to watch Arsenal vs Swansea City live stream free and online.

Arsenal vs swansea City match preview, live streaming

As mentioned before, Arsenal and Swansea City are having quite same situations, but Arsenal always have the advantage as this is a home match for them. On the other hand, the attacking lineup of Arsenal is much better than Swansea City as it is consisted with Sanchez, Welbeck and Walcott. And who will forget all the contribution of Mesut Ozil, which is the assist machine for Arsenal. These players are very consistent and it is a plus point of Arsenal. At the same time, Arsene Wenger is utilizing these attackers at the right time. However, Wenger should do something with the midfield structure of Arsenal as the worst midfield has played against Manchester United in the very previous Premier League match.

On the other hand, Francesco Guidolin’s men are not enough to keep their win until the final whistle. There are many times, when they scored the first goal in the match but failed to keep that until regulation time. This type of problem appears when you have weak defense lineup. According to many football match analysist, Swansea City’s defense is not good enough to stop Arsenal’s attacking lineup.
