After a hectic start in the summer window Liverpool FC had sent a delegation to chile with Ian Ayre, the club’s chief executive to finalize the deal with Brazilian midfielder Firmino. It is reported the deal is worth of £29m.

#6 Contract and Salary in Liverpool

The Brazilian is just 23 years old and has signed the contract for 5 year and his weekly wage will be 100,000 pound. Firmino is the second highest signing by the Anfield.

“It was strange because during some exercises he would just, without any apparent reason, just fold … but instead of making a big meal out of it and getting angry, he listened carefully to his coach and learned from what he had done wrong. That impressed me.”

This was enough to convince the official of the German side to sign Firmino.

Firmino signed a 5 year contract with the German side upto June, 2015. A Hoffenheim insider said on the signing that

“We got him from a smaller club in Brazil and he was obviously a big talent but he was not that well known.”
