The Spaniard’s situation at London is getting even worse after it is alleged that the player has requested a transfer away.
What worse still left for Cesc Fabregas to suffer at Chelsea? The Spanish international’s time at the English Capital is about to end after the fans showed hard reception to the former Arsenal star who was reasoned for the sacking of former manager Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese tactician has a very emotional attachment with the Blues’ fans and is terribly missed by the fans.
After recording 18 assists and 3 goals for the Blues in the English Premier League last season, the fans expected the Spaniard to continue the stunning form in the new season as they aimed for bigger success. But all they got in return is a mere 1 goal and 1 assist from the former Barcelona star so far this campaign.
Though the stats are just numbers, the Blue fans took it so dearly and the player’s allegation with Jose Mourinho’s sack has turned the fans against the player. Mourinho enjoyed a healthy relationship with Fabregas last season, but the new season did not help the duo to continue the goods. Everything went wrong for the Blues ever since they started the new season as they were downed to EPL’s tail where they are fighting to avoid relegation. A very hard situation for a team who won double titles just months before and knocked out from the Champions League without getting defeated.
Following Mourinho’s departure, numerous reports were made and most of them suggested Cesc Fabregas as the ‘rat’ who among with other two Chelsea stars organised the sack. Even some reports claimed that the players knowingly underperformed to ensure Jose Mourinho gets the sack. If the reports are to be believed, how can you expect love from the fans who just lost their best ever manager? You can expect absolutely nothing.

As per the current situation, the Blue fans believe everything that were reported against Cesc Fabregas amid some of the players’ public backing. And the fans reacted in a typical manner as they booed the Spaniard all over the Stamford Bridge and called the player ‘rat’. The Stamford Bridge crowd had supporting banners for the former manager Jose Mourinho and they were all screaming the former’s name to show the club how disgusting the decision was.
Reports from England claim that Cesc Fabregas is increasingly unhappy at London and is wanting a move away from the English capital. A lot of clubs are chasing the Spaniard knowing his situation with Bayern Munich are reportedly the front runners and showing greater interest.
Italians Inter Milan, Juventus and French Champions Paris Saint-Germain are also interested with Manchester City also being linked. But it is expected that any potential deal could get materialise only in the summer and no deal for the midfielder could be possible in the winter transfer window.
